Securities Core Processing Platform (SCPP) support back office processing for Fixed Income and other client reporting out of mainframe platform. SCPP is currently looking for senior mainframe development lead with domain knowledge of fixed income, journal processing and client reporting.
This is a very visible role with opportunity to work with business partners, operations and client service reps, as well as with other technology team on SCPP platform. Role will require collaboration with operations and technology to evolve target operating model and execute initiatives associated with that in order to improve operational efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities
•Understand current state of Fixed Income reporting pipeline and journal approval system.  Partner with business to optimize current operation model and improve overall efficiencies. •Work prioritization and planning. Manage a global team.
•Manage governance across assigned technical functional work streams and be able to manage stakeholder's expectation throughout the delivery of the project.
 
Required Technical Skillset
• Mainframe COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL
• Mainframe TSO, ISPF , JHS, QMF, SPUFI, REXX, Platinum suite of products, ChangeMan
• Microsoft office suite of product – Office, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint
• Familiarity with Micro Focus Developer, Analyzer and Enterprise Server software is a Plus
 
•Minimum 10 years' experience in Financial Industry with at least 5 years of hands on experience in fixed Income space. 
•Strong understanding of Client Reporting platform, subscription model etc.
•Strong understanding of Project Management tools.
•Ability to govern initiatives in a shared service group and resolve conflict through inclusive culture.
•Ability to produce management reports at right level for senior technology and business leadership.
