This role provides the opportunity to be part of our Reference Data hub for Margin and Collateral System (MaCS) which spans across multiple lines of business within JPMorgan’s Corporate Investment Bank. We are looking for a resource with extensive hands-on Java experience (Core or Enterprise) and a proven history of development and delivery using technologies such as Java 8, Angular JS and HTML5. This role will require participation at all stages of the project life cycle from requirements gathering to implementation. This role will also require development in both the front-end and back end tiers.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in Java development (Core or Enterprise)
  • Angular JS or EXTJS is required as we look to rebuild some of our user interfaces
  • Exposure of NoSQL technologies such as Cassandra, HBase or MongoDB will be a big plus
  • Knowledge of one of the messaging technologies, such as JMS, IBM MQ or Tibco EMS
  • Experience of publish/subscribe technologies such as Kafka / AMPS.
  • Solid experience in Spring, Maven, and Stash / Bitbucket
  • Experience in Test Driven Development
  • Competence in basic SQL queries
  • Experience in banking or financial services is preferred; experience in reference data is a big plus
  • Computer Science degree (or the like) is preferred
