Workforce Technology (WT), part of CT,  is the central steward for the design, build, and asset management for the firm's Human Capital technology across all lines of business and global regions. In partnership with our HR business partners and service providers we deliver solutions that meet the requirements of our key clients - JP Morgan employees. 
 
Workforce Technology Planning Systems & Platform manages a diverse portfolio which includes advanced analytics, planning systems and information management.
 
The ideal candidate will possess strong design, development and support skills in latest Java and related technologies, with first hand experience working on critical Java\JEE  and Oracle based platforms.
  
This role is for a Lead Java Developer's position responsible to work across HRT, HR business & infrastructure teams to help design, build, configure and manage the next generation applications for HR.
  • Software installation, configuration, conducting POCs as well as setup and maintenance of production platform.
  • Design, build, rollout and support the applications
  • Contribute to improve the adoption of Agile in teams
  • Level 3 app support, data operations and documentation
  • Work as true technology lead and coach the developers
     
  • Minimum 10 years super technical hands on experience in large and complex environments
  • Minimum 8 years of hands on experience in Java, JEE stack of technologies with solid understanding of the SDLC tools
  • Minimum 5 years experience in GIT, Stash, JIRA, Maven or Griddle,  and related tools
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Agile methodology
  • Couple of years of Mule ESB experience is huge plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience with CI and promoting the code from development to production

  • Strong analytical, problem solving and mentorship skills

  • Ability to work individually or as part of a team to achieve project goals

  • Experience working successfully with the business users and technology vendors

  • Good experience in SOAP, RESTful, XML (e.g., DTDs, XSDs, XSLT etc) , Messaging systems (e.g., Oracle JMS, QPID, ActiveMQ etc) and SQL.
  • Experience with UNIX and LINUX operating systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast moving environment.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Work with team across global locations.
Qualification
  • Bachelors' degree in Computer Science or related field of study.
