About Asia Sales & Marketing Business Management
Asia Sales & Marketing Business Management function sits within Finance & Business Management (F&BM) of the Corporate & Investment Bank. Business managers are responsible for supporting the business heads from an end-to-end perspective, helping business heads to drive the business agenda across financials, client coverage, risk & control, people and partnership. Business managers have significant exposure & interactions with senior management and are required to have a thorough understanding of the business & regulatory landscape, equipped with strategic, financial and project coordination skills.
Role description:
J.P. Morgan’s Asia FICC E-Commerce Sales team offers clients a comprehensive set of e-Trading capabilities across Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities across a number of electronic channels.
As the business manager of Asia E-Commerce Sales, the candidate will work closely with the regional E-Commerce Sales head in Hong Kong to deliver the FICC E-Commerce agenda. This includes identifying client opportunities, tracking performance and driving product / platform enhancement in partnership with Sales, Trading, BMs and other functions such Technology, Finance, Operations, Legal and Compliance. In addition to the E-Commerce agenda, the successful candidate will also gain exposure to the broader APAC Sales business through driving cross-LOB projects for the APAC Sales & Marketing BM team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform data analysis to help business identify and drive closure to key gaps and monetize opportunities
  • Measure, track, and provide transparency to the performance of E-Commerce Sales in the region by establishing meaningful metrics from data sources
  • Prepare presentations for business heads to discuss strategies, review business performances and financial/headcount budgeting
  • Drive innovative e-trading projects in partnership with Sales and Trading from inception through to completion as products gradually become more electronified: ranging from pre-trade analytics to e-trading execution to post-trade reporting and transparency
  • Engage with trading, sales, product, technology, operations, legal and compliance regularly to provide connectivity and cohesiveness across the region
  • Drive cross-LOB projects for the broader Asia Sales business across Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities and Investor Services
  • Manage day-to-day Sales queries or issues


  • Highly motivated, energetic self-starter who is able to work under tight timelines and pressure
  • Good communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Strong analytical skills and sound judgment – able to develop, present and draw conclusions
  • Strong problem solving mindset to identify issues and implement solutions quickly
  • Strong Excel/PowerPoint skills - Ability to work with various data sets is beneficial
  • Product knowledge of FX, Commodities, Credit and Rates is beneficial
