The Business Analyst role resides within the Global Compliance Metrics team and is primarily accountable for understanding and documenting the business needs for the Compliance Metrics Program, cross referencing to technical specs, and providing traceability.  This position requires background and experience in the preparation of technical documentation and a strong understanding of the technical aspects regarding complex applications.  The role also requires an active involvement in the BAU side of Compliance Metrics, working on data analysis and process improvement initiatives. Familiarity with Compliance and audit best practices is a plus.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, self-reliant problem solver, experience working with complex applications and effectively translating analysis results as inputs into documentation of business, functional, and/or operational requirements, designs and test plans.
Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze business systems and processes, and document business, functional, and operational requirements to ensure a quality implementation
  • Serve as liaison between the line of business partners and architecture/development teams to effectively interpret business clients’ needs and create business solutions
  • Ensure traceability between business requirements, technical requirements, the design, and ultimately the end solution
  • Ensuring a successful production implementation by creating or providing input into the production validation plan and/or documenting new operational processes as a result of the implementation
  • Develop training materials and provide training
  • Visible member of the project team, should be a key contributor in issue identification, documentation, and resolution and provide assistance in the reporting and tracking to the Project Manager
  • Prepare for and support presentations to stakeholders and Working Group meeting
  • Support BAU process and involve in data research/analysis activities
  • Support the Program manager to deliver program wide governance and project management.
  • Develop presentation material to support stakeholder and regulatory presentations
  • Contribute enhancement activities including SharePoint development and reporting automation
  • Support project planning and governance sessions
  • Facilitate communication with functional partners
  • Prepare Working Group material and chair meetings when the Program Manager is unavailable:
  • Ensure clear lines of communication among stakeholders and attendees for management team / Committee and Forum preparation meetings 
  • Lead and implement process improvement initiatives in Compliance Metrics area
