Outline of Role
Business Analyst working within the CIB Finance Global Program Management as part of the global team implementing a strategic Finance Risk Warehouse (FRW). This will provide strategic feeds to all locations and data consumers across Finance and Risk.
Documenting and co-ordinating the gathering of requirements across all regions for FRW releases. Including data sourcing, Consumption requirements, business validations, reconciliations and adjustments.
Providing SME support to technical teams and reviewing functional specifications to ensure all CIB finance impacts are assessed and requirements captured.
Preparing and reviewing test cases and test results for the program level test teams to use.
Understanding and communicating global Operating model and integration into Operating model of local consumers
Escalating issues and risks to the Project Manager.
Delivery/co-ordination of high quality business requirements for the enterprise level program on consumer data requirements, controls and operating model.
Co-ordinating and preparing test cases and expected results for the program level test teams to use.
Co-ordination and in some cases execution of User Acceptance Testing for business sign off
Tracking key milestones, flagging risks and issues through to resolution.
Ensuring sign offs & key decisions and artefacts are documented and retained in line with policy
Report to the CIB Finance project lead.
Liaise with CIB projects regional leads to identify CIB impacts & requirements
Liaise across CIB Finance teams (Local Reg/LEC & Product Control) to communicate scope & identify impacts
Develop strong working relationship with Corporate FRW program level teams.
Develop strong working relationship with relevant technology teams
Knowledge and Experience
Experience of JPMorgan CIB systems architecture for Loans/ Deposits/ Cash
Understanding of JPMorgan Finance Platform (including regional specificities).
Setting up data hubs, the controls and operating models that go alongside.
Regulatory reporting projects or BAU experience preferred.
Technical Skills & Knowledge
Good knowledge of Investment banking products.
Good knowledge of Regulatory or other external reporting operating models and processes.
An understanding and an appreciation of the Project Life Cycle as operated by JPMorgan Finance functions
Accounting background (useful but not essential)
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Reasoned decision taker
Ability to articulate risks versus rewards surrounding project dynamics
Clear and concise written / oral communication skills
Systematic and organised approach
Able to multi task
