The AWM Technology & Operations Finance Business Management team supports the Technology CIO and Operations Lead and their respective organizations within Asset Wealth Management. The team is responsible for governing the AWM technology portfolio which includes defining governance standards and monitoring the program portfolio as it drives the annual technology budgeting process and ongoing monitoring of program/project delivery.  This team is a central coordination point between Finance, Business management and the Central functions team with this role specifically focused on Program Management Office activities.
The candidate should have extensive experience in Program/Project management governance and executive reporting as well as a strong understanding of SDLC processes (i.e. Agile/Waterfall)   The candidate should have a good working knowledge of project management toolsets, as well as experience with driving and standards for a global portfolio.  Candidate should have familiarity with simplifying reporting and overall product management.  Experience within financial services is a plus.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to aligning core PPM, SDLC and financial processes in support of managing the IT Portfolio. The candidate will be responsible for interfacing with the LOB delivery teams in order to support key reporting needs for senior management.  Additionally, the person will work with the AWM PMO lead in driving our Technology project delivery efforts to ensure we continue to evolve consistent processes, standards, skills and proper usage of tools, partnering with the AWM Tech management teams, business managers and LoB aligned PMO teams. 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Creation and production of various executive reports (including Mission Critical), and analyze data to ensure an accurate and meaningful consolidated global view on a weekly and monthly basis;  Supports Global Technology needs including weekly Flash reporting and milestone management, Executive Management Review (EMR), Roadmap 5.0, etc.
  • Support AWM for Clarity functional and reporting changes. This includes requirements and supporting process definition, UAT coordination, communication to stakeholders, etc.
  • Support for AWM Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) for Project Management, Governance, and Service Portfolio Process
  • Drive improvements across the project delivery framework and ensuring alignment with SDLC, developing and implementing best practices to improve efficiency and reduce costs

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Drive execution consistency (process & tools) and facilitate automation across the reporting landscape
  • Quality assurance efforts, ensuring that programs adhere to approved set of processes, policies, and standards
  • Provide training to ensure adoption and common usage of project and program management tools and processes
  • Participate in PM/BA Job Family transformation in line with overall GT/AWM Tech Strategy
  • Participate in “Start from Scratch” reporting simplification program with a goal to drive consistent standardized reporting for AWM Technology
  • Support special project work, as needed, for AWM Technology teams
  • Assist in coaching and mentoring AWM Tech and AWM Tech F&BM resources with the best practices for Program/Project Management and Executive Status reporting; In addition, participate in a variety of Agile transformation efforts impacting how we deliver technology


  • 3+ years of Program Delivery / PMO experience.  Ideally, previous experience working on complex projects/programs across multiple regions and/or lines of businesses, and products

  • Knowledge of project management techniques and software delivery frameworks ( e.g. Waterfall, Agile)

  • Experience in business analysis, business program oversight, process improvement and standardization, and project management (PMO)

  • Effective problem solving and analytical skills; excellent written and oral communication skills; and demonstrated ability to interact with technical, non-technical, and business members of the organization

  • Proficient in Clarity and supporting financial toolsets

  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel

  • Superior analytical abilities

  • Clear communication skills, and the ability to articulate complex issues concisely

  • Excellent organization skills and time management skills

  • Ability to think outside the box, adapt to circumstances, learn from co-workers, and share information and experiences

  • Leadership, relationship-building and influencing skills to drive agenda’s across a number of functions

  • Ability to learn and actively seek new skills and knowledge to keep up with the changing technology field

  • Experience working with Clarity, Business Objects, QlikView and SharePoint a plus
