This role is for an energetic problem-solver, looking to contribute across a broad set of business management and technology product development initiatives.  The role will include a mix of business management responsibilities across Global Insurance, Strategy & Analytics and North America Institutional Sales.  In addition, you will contribute to product development of AM’s technology platform, Spectrum, by understanding stakeholder requirements, driving decisions, developing messaging, etc.
The role will offer a unique opportunity to learn about Sales, Product, Client Service and Technology underpinning our organization.
  • A successful candidate will be a “do-er” and have a mix of responsibilities:
  • Multi-task and prioritize across day-to-day processes supporting the business:  client inquiries, stakeholder requests, controls/rcsa/audit, strategy, etc.
  • Analyze various datasets to develop actionable insight
  • Execute on new ideas driven by client requests and business needs
  • Help functions across the organization maximize value from our technology platform
  • Build business cases for technology ideas worth pursuing
  • Track record of solving problems by navigating across functions and  by developing insight through data and/or process analysis
  • Organized self-starter, who isn’t intimidated by having to frequently learn new things
  • Enjoys data and possesses strong Excel skills.  Basic DB/data model skills a plus
  • Understands technology trends and wants the challenge of  finding useful applications to our business
  • Quick at building effective relationships across levels
  • Team player, comfortable working in a fast paced consulting style, unstructured environment
