Spectrum is AM’s technology platform and technology brand.  It encompasses AM’s end-to-end investment and client-service capabilities.  An important part of our technology strategy is to increase automation and align processes to help simplify our business.  We are positioning the platform as an important differentiator with our internal and external stakeholders, and seeking to add a bright, energetic product manager to our team.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Define and manage successful delivery of programs and projects that rely on your project management, communication, and interpersonal skills to engage and influence many distinct business and technology functions across a high number of stakeholders at varying levels of seniority
  • Partner with sponsors, affiliated product manager, working group members and stakeholders to ensure alignment and delivery of program and realization of business benefits
  • Proactively create and manage Spectrum roadmaps, milestones, progress reports, and metrics on data related projects or programs
  • Coordinate and manage various meetings / forums to support working group engagements
  • Create and maintain effective marketing communications (internally and externally), providing transparency of the overall initiative as well as key materials for informing clients of our differentiating capabilities
  • Create thorough and detailed artifacts to support data stewards in data definition, data quality, and metrics definition

  • 4+ year track record of proactively solving problems by navigating across functions and developing insight through data and/or process analysis
  • 2+ years of experience as  a Business Analyst or similar role (business or technology-related)
  • Motivated individual with strong work ethic and the ability to proactively manage and lead efforts associated with key program deliverables while collaborating with several teams
  • Excellent documentation, analytical, and reasoning skills (e.g., adheres to best practices in meeting management, regularly completes tasks and conducts business with no supervision over email, produces review-ready documentation)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to lead meetings and steer discussions accordingly (e.g., produces senior management-ready presentation decks with minimal oversight, effectively and professionally manages meeting discussion to ensure effectiveness and timeliness, interact with stakeholders ranging from working group level through executive level)
  • Understands technology trends and wants the challenge of finding useful applications to our business
  • A good level of end-to-end understanding of the asset management business
