The Global Security and Investigations Team (GS&I) provides protection, investigation, resiliency and crisis management services in support of JP Morgan Chase, its employees, customers, assets, and facilities throughout the world. This responsibility includes the development of security and safety policies and procedures, regulatory and legislative compliance, security guard management, alarm response, branch and corporate building security, customer safety, physical crime investigations, workplace violence, fire and life safety, executive protection, due diligence, pre-employment screening, security operations globally, and fraud Investigations.
 
This Project Manager will be a key figure within the Technical Security Group of Global Security & Investigations.  The candidate will be responsible for partnering with the North America, EMEA, APAC and LATAM Technical Security Regional Leads, driving the execution of strategic business related initiatives.  The candidate must be a highly-motivated individual and must be able to handle a high level of complexity within their span of control, be able to deal with and work through ambiguity, be flexible enough to shift workload in accordance with changing priorities, and be comfortable dealing with and leading in a sometimes stressful and fast-paced, priority-driven environment.
 
SCOPE:
  • Assist the North America Technical Security Manager with organizational management responsibilities including strategic planning, project management and process/program improvements
  • Responsible for facing-off with key business partners in order to understand the strategy, direction, and roadmap objectives for the business
  • Responsible for end-to-end Project Delivery to enhance business strategy, efficiency and governance, and optimization efforts
  • Ability to identify business process gaps and drive improved business operating models
  • Establish governance structure, project management discipline and drive execution
  • Track program dependencies across programs, projects and risk stripes and report progress against plans, justifying variance
  • Develop/standardize reporting for Technical Security; Manage accuracy of data in Project Management databases (example: OneView) and SharePoint sites
  • Track issues and action items
  • 7-10 years experience  as a project manager, managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience working on large projects or leading smaller end to end projects preferred
  • Strong analytical, data management and problem solving skills
  • Experience in management of critical path, issues, risks and dependencies
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Ability to quickly understand complex subject matter
  • Ability to execute tasks under aggressive targets and effectively manage to changes in plan
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize issues
  • Ability to work independently and be self motivated
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, especially Microsoft Project
  • Ability to create effective presentations using PowerPoint
  • Professional Project Management certification preferred (e.g., PMI, APMP)
  • Security Product Knowledge for Corporate Facilities ( ie Alarm, Video and Access Control)
