To capture the significant growth for equity derivatives products in Asia, J.P. Morgan has deployed one of the largest and most sophisticated equity derivatives teams in the region to adapt to growing client demands in Asia’s local markets.
J.P. Morgan has a dedicated marketing team that covers all major markets in Asia and provides a full range of solutions to its clients, including: 
  • Flow derivatives
  • Equity finance and structured finance
  • Equity exotics and hybrids
  • Convertible products
  • Structured products
Key Responsibilities covered by these areas:
This role sits within the front office within Equity Derivatives Trading. The Corporate Derivatives Trading desk provides Structured Financing and Hedging solutions to clients that include Corporates, Private Equity Funds and HNW Individuals. The role involves partnering with the Structured Solutions Marketing Team on the Structuring and Execution of significant deals which often straddle Private­side mandates. In addition the role requires an understanding of the Trading Regulations across all of the Asian Equity Markets. The role is an exciting opportunity which will require the management of Risk positions across the region for the Corporate Derivatives book and will involve working in a dynamic and busy trading floor environment.
  • Provide a meaningful contribution to revenue and client franchise; Exploit revenue and minimise loss potential.
  • Leverage technology and analytics to drive pricing/hedging as well as idea generation
  • Employs knowledge of Company/industry/sector to analyse individual transaction risk and return profile
  • Exhibit sound judgment under pressure and maintain composure through challenging trading environments
  • Know the implications of events on the entire trading desk and demonstrate a thorough understanding of fundamental and technical aspects of market
  • Understands firm's approach and policies for managing risks in relevant business and applicable legal and regulatory rules, and follows policies
  • Build foundation of trust with clients by demonstrating an understanding of their needs and being responsive
  • Engage others in active dialogue; Drive group involvement; build active collaboration with and trust of clients and internal constituencies;
  • Models and promotes coaching and continuous learning. Informally mentors and coaches others
  • Drives the people development agenda through leadership of key initiatives (recruiting, mentoring, training etc).
  • Understand the firm's approach and policies for managing risks in relevant business and applicable legal and regulatory rules, and follows policies.
  • Provide developmental feedback to team members; effectively deliver tough messages and encourage performance improvement.
