Commercial Banking (“CB”) is a world-class franchise within JPMorgan Chase & Co, serving a variety of clients, including corporations, municipalities, financial institutions, and nonprofit entities.   Of the wholesale lines of business (Asset Management, Commercial Banking, Corporate & Investment Banking and Dealer Commercial Services), CB underwrites the most volume of commitments,  provides the largest balance of retained, funded wholesale loans and has the most diversity in loan classifications.  Lending is a primary focus for CB.
Research and Company Insights is a Center of Excellence providing a cost effective and scalable research platform that enables banker prospecting efforts through enhanced research intelligence.
RCI Manager will lead a team of Global (US and India) researchers supporting Commercial Banking teams.  The successful candidate will possess strategic focus, attention to detail,  effective communication and be able to manage and prioritize tasks to a high- paced deadline driven organization. This individual will need to manage staff and workflow effectively to deliver flawless work output.
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Strategize and market the benefits of RCI across CB – will involve travel
  • Manage team to ensure timely delivery of high quality, complex research to clients
  • Oversight of workflow and intake both on and offshore
  • Training of both team and recipients of research
  • Partner with business stakeholders to ensure delivery of results against business objective
  • Oversight and ongoing strategy build-out of both India and US teams
  • Develop, implement, and monitor service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Develop goals and objectives or researchers with succession plan
Experience and Skillset:
  • Well versed in market data and research services
  • Strong knowledge of Commercial Banking systems/ data and MMBSI knowledge would be an advantage
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to select and apply the best-fitting and most efficient research methodology for any given research objective
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, while focusing on strategic priorities
  • Microsoft office skills
  • Remote/dispersed team management experience
  • Minimum 8-10 years experience
