JPMC is seeking an Analyst for the Corporate Location Strategy (CLS) team. The position will play a key role in supporting the CLS program – a top strategic priority for the firm - across multiple lines of businesses in locations globally. The CLS team is part of our Global Real Estate (GRE) and the Strategy & Process Improvement (S&PI) functions.

 

Corporate Location Strategy focuses on optimizing our global work-force locations, including consolidating into world-class corporate centers of excellence that enhance our client support, employee satisfaction, productivity and controls, while optimizing operating costs.

 

Global Real Estate manages the firm's real estate assets and investments and partners with the lines of business to proactively address their real estate needs. 

 

The CLS team, specifically, has the following key responsibilities:

 

  • Location Strategy & Advisory - advocating, leading, developing, and reporting the execution of the firm-wide location strategy program – across all lines of business and functions in 300+ global locations 
  • Strategic Location Planning & Analytics – Coordinating and tracking multi-year location headcount demand and seat supply, across the firm, globally. Analytics also includes utilization data, commuting analyses, etc.
  • Occupancy Planning Infrastructure – The team manages the front-back technology and process required for Occupancy planning, including Serraview, GRE Database Library (GREDL) and CAD
  • Workplace Advisory and Choice Seating program – Advising workplace best practices to maximize productivity, including the global roll-out of the Choice Seating program

 

This role will primarily focus on supporting the completeness and accuracy of data flows in/out and processes within key JPMC systems. Typical duties (not exhaustive) include:

 

  • Reconciliations between multiple JPMC systems
  • Enhancement and enrichment of data files
  • Version release planning and support
  • Development of business requirements for future releases of internal systems

Responsibilities

 

Systems workflow and data support

  • Manage existing inter-system reconciliations
  • Research and resolve data feed and processing issues, and recommend fixes
  • Enhance and enrich data files through Excel, Access or other tools
  • Assess current workflow and data support processes and propose enhancements for accuracy and speed

 

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner with cross functional CLS teams and GRE teams
  • Support the implementation of key business decisions and change efforts

 

Team Leadership

  • Support multiple projects and reporting needs by working with team across the globe
  • Creates work plans and manages expectations and quality standards for required deliverables

 


 

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of extensive experience in systems workflow and data support
  • Proficient in Excel (e.g., array formulas, pivot tables, index/match, familiar with VBA)
  • Keen attention to details and demonstrated ability to quality check work (e.g., confirm records are not lost/added during data joins, sanity check outputs, etc.)

·        Experienced in developing documentation, planning, and management for all steps of system version release development

·        Clear, efficient, personable, and effective communication skills that create trouble-shooting results in time-sensitive situations

·        Strong team player and interpersonal skills

·        Ability to multitask and handle high stress while maintaining accuracy in tight deadlines
