The Corporate Technology (CT) organization develops applications and provides technology support for corporate functions across JPMorgan Chase, including Global Finance, Corporate Treasury, Risk Management, Human Resources, Compliance, Legal, and all functions within the Corporate Administrative Office (CAO).  CT teams are aligned with corporate partners’ evolving technology needs and the firm’s ever expanding technology controls agenda.
You will be working within Corporate Technology to create a consolidated Legal Matter management solution. The goal of the project is to consolidate all project and portfolio management functionality into a single solution, create a consistent data hierarchy, reduce the number of user interfaces, streamline the overall business process and centralize reporting to provide real-time data to users.


  • Responding to the evolving regulatory environment and helping to meet the firm’s regulatory commitments by addressing internal and external commitment
  • Advancing the firm’s Roadmap programs -- Single Sourcing of data, Architecture Convergence, and Rationalization of Platforms
  • Adopting industry leading technologies to support best-in-class business capabilities for high performance computing and data storage solutions
  • Driving innovation across the firm’s corporate technology portfolio, increasing efficiencies through process automation, and Agile application development, with an emphasis on user experience and shorter development cycles
  • Investing in security & controls for cyber, access/entitlements uplift, data protection and application resilience
  • Design, analyze, develop, test, debug, and deliver components related to Legal Matter management
  • Collaborate with fellow team members globally and communicate to keep others informed of progress
  •  Provide general assistance in the overall management of the project lifecycle
  • 5+ years of object oriented design methodologies experience.
  • Knowledge of Agile SDLC methodology and techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, application resiliency, and security
  • Strong understanding of database concepts and experience with a relational database Oracle/SQL Server
  • Ability to create TSQL queries
  • Solid analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communications skills both written and oral
  • 3 + years of  JavaScript/Java / J2EE/ JSP / Servlet                                                               
  • 2 + years of Spring / Spring MVC / JDBC / ORM                                           
  • 2+ years of Web Services / RESTFUL using Spring MVC                           
  • Working knowledge with SQL databases – SQL Server             
  • 2+ years of Hibernate 3.x
  • ELM Passport knowledge is a plus                                                            
  • Groovy programming is a plus
