Enterprise Access Administration (EAA) is responsible for Access Administration within JPMorgan Chase.  The Database Administration team within EAA provisions database security access to a diverse population of global clients accessing critical applications.  Supported platforms include Oracle, SQL, Sybase Teradata and DB2.
The Database Technology Operations Analyst role will be responsible for delivering quality customer service to internal customers as the primary contact for fulfilling database access requests, leveraging multiple tools and systems for execution  You will be responsible for performing access administration daily functions in addition to driving security related projects and leading our automation efforts.  You will also be accountable for process improvement/definition, risk standards alignment, oversight, and leadership of the database administration functions. You will serve as a liaison between clients and other technical groups to resolve access issues and will be responsible for complying with Information Technology Risk policies and standards.  Flexible schedule in support of a global production environment includes overtime as necessary.
    •  Bachelor’s Degree preferred
    • Minimum 2 - 3 years experience in identity and access administration, global operations and/or technology risk management
    • Familiarity with IT risk management framework and control self assessment process
    • Provides effective production support including accurate problem identification, ticket documentation and customer/vendor dialogue
    • Articulates the business value and impact of technical and non-technical information and understands when to escalate issues
    • Takes ownership of client issues ensuring appropriate parties are engaged for timely resolution
    • Strong verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills
    • Uses organizational, time-management, and office automation skills to facilitate efficient job functionality and team goals
    • Minimum of 2 year experience in a database, application or platform access admin role
    • Demonstrated technical problem solving skills and a customer service focus
    • Excellent communication and consensus building skills
    • Ability to communicate technical information in easy to understand business terms
