Wealth Management Operations supports the JPMorgan Private Bank in JP Morgan’s Asset & Wealth Management line of business. The Private Bank is the world’s premier service provider for ultra and high net worth individuals. Our goal is to help these affluent individuals across the globe optimize their wealth, after taxes and across generations. Wealth Management Operations provides end-to-end support for all aspects of the client experience, working closely with client service, fiduciary, product specialty groups, third party vendors and other internal groups.

Position Summary:
We are looking to for an analyst/associate to join our Middle Office team supporting Managed Solutions and Strategies (MSS). MSS develops and manages the discretionary product offering of J.P. Morgan  Wealth Management, responsible for ~$300B in client asset under management. This position provides customized support for the Mutual Fund, SMA, Hedge Fund, and Private Equity Due Diligence Teams as well as for the Investment Director Team. As an analyst/associate, you will be responsible for working with our business & technical teams to document, re-engineer and implement new processes. You will be responsible for evaluating, analyzing, and working in structured, control-oriented approaches to increase the productivity of our Manager Selection, Due Diligence and Investment Oversight teams. This role will work on various projects that span multiple tools and geographic bounds.

Key priorities include developing processes and procedures while driving global consistency in implementation to meet new and enhanced standards, ensuring appropriate controls, and developing appropriate monitoring and reporting. The role will partner closely with key business, technology and operations teams, Compliance, Audit, regulators, and senior management. To be successful, the selected candidate must have a background in process design and engineering as well as relevant product and investment knowledge. The role will be accountable for building and leveraging a network of partners in Wealth Management to drive the overall success of the MSS agenda. Responsibilities are likely to include but not be limited to:

• Work closely with key business stakeholders and partners in Legal, Compliance, Operations, Technology to document current state, propose alternative approaches and execute recommendations
• Develop new processes and procedures and / or recommend changes to existing processes
• Document and understand regional differences in operations models and work toward global consistency
• Participate in large-scale Technology programs with a focus on process re-engineering and end-to-end thinking
• Analyze and advise on business recommendations including cost/benefit analyses



The successful operations analyst must take initiative and enjoy taking ownership for delivery of measurable results. The analyst should exhibit the following qualities:
• 3+ years of experience in working on various components of projects spanning technology/business process reengineering/operations
• Self-starter who is analytical and creative in their thinking; ability to quickly analyst information and creatively reach solution to execute
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
• Aptitude to digest large amounts of information and use it to develop innovative solutions
• Clear and concise communication skills
• Logical, structured approach to planning, problem solving and decision-making
• Excellent at creating visually stimulating PowerPoint & Visio documentation
• Ability to work on various tasks at any given time with the ability to prioritize without significant guidance
• Deals comfortably with ambiguity, uncertainty and a changing environment
• Positive, results oriented team player, willing to work hard with and for a global team
• Intellectually curious person who wants to know the answer behind the answer
• BS/BA required: Industrial Engineering, Management, Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Operations, Mathematics and/or Management Information Systems preferred – others majors may be considered
• Series 99 required within 120 days of hire.
