Our Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) Information Technology Controls organization is seeking an Information Risk Associate to become part of our growing emerging risk management practice. This person should possess experience within information security, application development, and IT risk and controls. 
 
The Technology Controls Analyst will be responsible for executing risk and control assessment functions relative to new projects and enhancements in Digital IT. This includes meeting with Digital IT staff, reviewing documentation, working with the third party risk management teams, and assessing emerging risks within Digital’s book of work against internal policies and standards. Collaborating with the Digital project stakeholders to ensure they understand risk and control requirements and offering alternative solutions to meet risk and control standards.
 
The ideal candidate is a self-starter and an output-driven team player with experience in fast-paced matrixed environments. Candidates shall showcase their ability to leverage multiple forms of communication to articulate complex concepts. The ideal candidate should have risk assessment experience in at least one of the following disciplines: (mobile security, cloud security, cryptography, and data security)
 
Primary Job Responsibilities:
  • Represent TCO in multiple innovation projects to uncover risk and control opportunities.
  • Ensure clear communication of risk related items are articulated to the Digital IT teams and that those teams are establishing mitigation plans to correct any issues.
  • Build strong relationships with the Digital IT teams in order to establish trust among the group. 
  • Demonstrate attention to detail by documenting risk and following up to ensure risk mitigation is seen through the end of the issue.
  • Assess Digital IT project initiatives to known best practices while also ensuring they meet internal risk and controls standards.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in related Technical field
  • 6+ years of experience in progressive Application Development and/or Solution Engineering roles
  • Strong foundation in Technology Assessment for Solutions Architecture
  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining consulting partnerships with technology stakeholders to advise and recommend innovative solutions

Required Technical Expertise and Experience:

  • Experience with responsive web design
  • Control experience with encryption technologies (synchronous, asynchronous)
  • Experience with Secure Web Services
Knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and education required to perform job.
  • Solid awareness of industry standards and best practices (in areas such as Software Development, Information and Cyber Security, and Technology Controls).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to improve transparency, engagement, quality, continuity within the emerging technologies and risk management landscape.
  • Strong subject matter expertise in risk/threat vectors, attack surface reduction, technology control standards and procedures, and control operational execution.
  • Solid organizational skills
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CISM preferred.
  • Comfortable operating in an often ambiguous and ever changing environment.
  • Demonstrated willingness to step outside of defined role to assume greater challenges and/or develop new skills.
  • Experienced and capable of transforming complex issues into simple, easily understandable solutions.
