Analysts within the Sales & Trading teams work with top professionals to advise and facilitate transactions with a variety of institutional clients comprising of banks, fund managers, pension funds, insurance companies and hedge funds.  Equity Derivatives Trading – US index volatility:  As an Analyst, you will help senior traders cover a wide range of client accounts and make markets in the suite of products offered by the index desk. You will assist the senior traders in managing risk, liquidity, and exposure and you may support all aspects of the trading desk: pre-trade analysis, inbound and outbound trade processing and the design of optimal strategies for large trades. Tracking supply and demand, you constantly evaluate market developments in order to risk manage and provide color to clients.

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Someone who thrives on the challenge of competitive pressures and is able to remain focused on client needs
  • Candidates with a GPA (or equivalent) of 3.5 and above
  • Expert Excel, Power Point, VBA/MS Office skills.
  • Strong basic knowledge of coding preferred
  • Strong fundamental knowledge of options preferred
  • Superior time management and multi-tasking skills to juggle live transactions and daily tasks.
  • Maturity and the ability to succeed in a dynamic, fast-paced and open environment.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a markets-related business
