The Private Bank addresses every facet of wealth management including investment management and brokerage, tax and estate planning, banking and credit, capital raising, and specialty wealth advisory services.
 
As part of Wealth Management (WM) Investment Solutions, the Managed Products Group works in conjunction with the Manager Selection team to develop and deliver products for use in the Private Bank (PB), JPMorgan Securities (JPMS) and Chase Wealth Management (CWM) lines of business. 
 
Role Outline
The Managed Products Group oversees the product management and development initiatives for the WM discretionary and brokerage platforms.  This includes partnering with key stakeholders to bring new products to market and ensuring that the products meet the needs of our clients and are commercially viable.  These investments, predominantly comprised of equity, fixed income and liquid alternative strategies, are generally offered as Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs), Mutual Funds (MFs) and Exchange Trade Funds (ETFs).
The role will involve working on both product management and governance initiatives that impact the team and the business.
 
Core responsibilities include:
  • Manage and coordinate continuous compliance with all regulatory and control requirements, including execution of our control self-assessment process, completion of Fund Disclosure Statements, as well as other ad hoc requests.
  • Analyze current managed product offering across WM and partner with key stakeholders to define impact to the product range as a result of industry or regulatory changes and provide recommendations
  • Lead the implementation of all business change and regulatory initiatives that impact the Managed Product business and specifically the processes and activities owned by the team
  • In partnership with the other functions in WM effectively identify and manage risks in the current environment as well as in new initiatives.  This includes managing the end to end execution of functional control assessments and the assessment of ongoing regulatory obligations for the Managed Products business
  • Identify gaps in policies and processes and liaise as necessary with stakeholders to escalate issues for resolution including assessment of materiality
  • Liaising with Controls Management teams and cross-functional project groups globally on specific projects and control initiatives.

  • Knowledge of mutual funds, separately managed accounts and ETFs.
  • Product management experience is a plus.
  • Interest in participating, managing and delivering large strategic initiatives.
