Commercial Banking’s (CB) Deposit Pricing & Analytics (DP&A) team is globally responsible for the management of JP Morgan’s Commercial Banking liquidity portfolio and the deposit and investment products that support the portfolio.
The DP&A function broadly focuses on the management of liquidity portfolio pricing and profitability, presentation of complex deposit solutions and short-term investment management expertise to clients, sales training, identification of emerging client requirements, management of segment initiatives and regular business reviews with key stakeholders to drive financial results.
The Deposit Pricing & Solutioning  (DP&S) team within the DP&A function provides robust support to  CB TS sales and banker business heads in portfolio level decisions and supports markets at the deal level in positioning deposit and investment  products and pricing to Commercial Banking clients. 
Commercial Banking provides the complete product offering of JPMorgan Chase, including lending, treasury services, investment banking and investment management to corporations, municipalities, financial institutions and not-for-profit entities with annual revenues generally ranging from $20 million to $2 billion.
The Associate Deposit Specialist will report to the DP&S Corporate Client Banking Team Lead and will support deposit pricing strategy and analysis efforts across all Corporate Client Banking segments.   Roles and responsibilities include:
 Associate Deposit Specialist:
  • Providing technical sales support including preparation of internal analysis of client metrics using Excel and other internal reporting tools.
  • Analyzing segment balance trends, product mix, and financial performance.
  • Managing outreach to Sales and Banking partners in response to remediation requests by Product team.
  • Assist with the management of effective internal and external sales/marketing campaigns to expand client penetration and exceed sales and profitability goals.
  • Working with Sales and Banking partners on new bids or exception pricing including cost/benefit analysis, pricing and profitability models, etc.
  • Managing exception pricing approvals process and institute regular monitoring and review of exception pricing on a monthly basis.
  • Ad hoc projects as requested
Portfolio Management:
  • Works closely with the Analytics team to offer and receive data that supports departmental objectives.
  • Prepares documents and decks that present pertinent and actionable information that measures balance growth, net interest income and other sales metrics.
  • Participate in monthly segment meetings to review segment financials, market environment, competition and client dynamics.
  • Minimum three years’ experience in investments and/or wholesale transactional banking products.  
  • Proven sales, relationship, TS Product, finance or business management experience.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, - specifically, proven ability to present findings in concise and cogent written presentations.
  •  Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills.
  • Team player and ability to network with co-workers.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to juggle multiple deliverables simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint (PitchPro)
  • Undergraduate degree required
  • Proven Treasury Management experience a plus
