RCO consists of the following functions:
Reconciliation Services Overview
Reconciliation Services is responsible for the Reconcilement of General Ledger and internal Demand Deposit accounts for various Lines of Business to ensure the integrity of the firm’s balance sheet.  LOB’s include: Consumer & Community Banking, Corporate & Investment Bank, Commercial Banking and Asset Wealth Management.
 
Job Description:
 
  • Lead a team of 20 to 45 team members and be responsible for their day to day deliverables, performance management and individual development
  • Understand the Reconciliation process and be in a position to appreciate the control measures to be applied to handle the process effectively.
  • Take complete charge of the Business deliverables and monitor for adherence.
  • Liaise and work with global teams to understand the process requirements and partner well to collaboratively deliver results.
  • Take charge of the team’s morale and ensure engagement initiatives are implemented in order to have high standards of employee retention and Employee Opinion Survey results.
  • Direct Team Leads leading teams to achieve day to day production results through appropriate monitoring, control and capacity utilization.
  • Have strong hold on MIS generation, maintain timeliness on reporting deliverables and follow the continuous improvement culture to take the existing processes to a futuristic level.
  • Display subject matter confidence by understanding the process and incorporating enhancements where required to achieve better productivity and accuracy levels.
  • Participate in migrations and make sure smooth transitions happen without impacts to daily SLA’s.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, negotiation, and influence skills required
  • Strong partnership and team building skills required
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint required
  • Ability to work in flexible shift as required

Commerce Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
