CRR Operations Manager – Vice President

RCO consists of the following functions:
Confirmations and Regulatory reporting:
 
Confirmations provide specific account information to third-party requestors that confirm the customer’s bank relationship and verifies deposits or account balances. This service provides information to assist customers with obtaining loans or lines of credit, satisfying annual audits or obtaining other financial services.
 
Currency Transaction Reporting (CTR) is responsible for filing Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) with the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), a government agency.  Federal regulations require financial institutions to keep records and file reports on daily aggregated transactions that exceed $10,000 in cash. These cash reports are referred to as CTRs. Law enforcement agencies use CTRs to identify, detect and deter money laundering whether for a criminal enterprise, terrorism, tax evasion or other unlawful activity.
 
Key Responsibilities
The Compliance Services Operations Vice President will:
  • Manage a team of 85 to 130 operational staff with a blend of FTE and Contract employees.
  • Create a positive team environment with a high level of employee engagement
  • Drive operational efficiencies and eliminate manual processes to minimize processing time while maintaining high quality standards
  • Efficiently manage peak season volume to exceed accuracy and timeliness SLAs
  • Collaborate with global business partners to optimize shift utilization, expand customer coverage and reduce cycle-time
  • Partner with various stakeholders to influence use of and improvement of electronic channels to increase STP rates and expand centralized processing model
  • Partner with Change Management team to drive strategic technology initiatives
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement "Standard Work" models and best practices
  • Improve customer satisfaction scores
  • Utilize rigorous metric and scorecard reporting to drive continuous improvements
  • Strengthen and ensure sustainment of the control environment
  • Strengthen compliance with regulations while improving the customer’s experience
  • Ensure timely resolution of escalated issues
  • Support corporate and line of business projects that impact the team
  • Lead high level business initiatives
 
Internal Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Business or Operations
  • 12+ years of overall experience with a minimum of 8 yrs operations management experience with an understanding of critical metrics
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy - proven ability to produce quality results timely
  • Demonstrated experience leading projects and/or initiatives
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and multi-task; strong organization skills
  • Experience in production, process improvement, process mapping, risk, controls and/or project management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills - ability to summarize findings into concise high level points geared toward the audience
  • Strong issue resolution skills
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills
  • Technical knowledge and/or experience managing in an environment of continuous improvement
  • Banking experience preferred
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Business or Operations
