Within the Corporate & Investment Bank, the Credit Risk organization is responsible for lending and counterparty (derivatives and securities-related) activities and related credit exposure. The group is organized by geography with teams aligned by industry. CIB Credit Risk works closely with the Credit Risk Middle Office (CRMO) organization to facilitate and support the credit risk lifecycle of a deal, from facility creation and maintenance through ongoing exception management across OTC, Futures & Options and other asset types.
The Relationship Manager (RM) role will act as a liaison between, and be an escalation point for, the CRMO organization and Credit Risk. The Relationship Manager will be on point for Credit Risk Officers to identify gaps and issues in daily processes, and establish partnerships across disciplines to lead efficiency improvements that may also enhance controls. The successful Relationship Manager will be an organized and proactive professional who will ensure proper implementation of Credit Risk Policies, Guidelines and Procedures. Relationship Managers will be dedicated to addressing the concerns, needs and challenges the Credit Risk team encounters while contributing to the overall strategy of the function. This position will interact regularly with Credit Risk Officers, credit risk support teams, Risk Technology and Risk Reporting as well as various internal project management groups.
