Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI) is the technology infrastructure organization for the firm, delivering a wide range of products and services, and partnering with all lines of business to provide high quality service delivery, exceptional project execution and financially disciplined approaches and processes in the most cost effective manner. The objective of GTI is to balance both business alignment and the centralized delivery of core products and services. GTI is designed to address the unique infrastructure needs of specific lines of business and the demand to leverage economies of scale across the firm.
 
Core Foundation Services (CFS) delivers measurable business value by providing core technology solutions that meet secure business demand while realizing cost efficiencies. CFS team’s works with our Line of Business partners to develop standardized, resilient operating environments and implements through global technology strategies for the Firm's infrastructure. As an Infrastructure Developer within the CFS space, responsibilities include design, engineering, and implementation of automation systems and associated infrastructure. The incumbent will have in-depth knowledge of the architecture and configurations required to design, implement and support the core infrastructure systems, applications and possess advanced analytical, troubleshooting and design skills.
The role will also require automation design, development and implementation as well as hands on and training for operations related to server encryption, public key infrastructure, systems security, performance tuning and monitoring, enterprise platform integration, and virtualization.
 
  • Seeking a Sr. Developer with a strong portfolio and focus on Infrastructure development.
  • This is a great opportunity to lead initiatives for design and execution on projects while remaining hands-on to create exciting designs for web and infrastructure.
  • You should have a strong understanding of technology and be completely hands-on with the creative side, particularly with IT infrastructure development projects.
  • Support and develop flexible, responsive collection of web platforms and tools to support current and future business objectives.
  • Contribute to a development framework with documentation and accountability for implementing and maintaining hardware and software infrastructure.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to the business for decision making and planning related to the web hardware and software infrastructure.
  • Lead in a highly matrixed, fast paced organization.
  • Proactively control quality in all aspects of web development and maintenance.
  • Proactively provide governance and maintain accountability for web platforms both internal and external.


 

 
Qualifications (Internal)
  • Minimum of five years of Applications Development experience building and deploying applications with the .NET family of products (C#, ASP. NET)
  • Minimum of five years of SQL Server Database Development experience building and deploying applications with the .NET family of products
  • Minimum of five years of SQL Server Database experience writing Stored Procedures, using joins, developing SSRS reports.
  • Minimum of three years of work experience in the following areas:
    • Object Oriented analysis and design
    • Design patterns
    • Database and Internet technologies
    • Web Service Development and XML
    •  Experience evaluating infrastructure changes and integration with middleware components for a enterprise class e-commerce web application running on Microsoft technologies
  • Strong working knowledge of XML, IIS,.NET framework architecture, distributed computing concepts and GUI usability
  • Scripting experience with Windows Powershell.
  • Web development experience using WordPress, JQuery, CSS3, ASP, JS, DHTML and strong HTML5 Front-End design

  • Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
