This role is for a team lead and senior developer for a strategic program within Treasury Services technology. The Team Lead will be expected to be an experienced individual contributor with hands-on experience and skills. As well as, have the ability to be capable of making design choices, develop code and provide guidance to other junior developers. The role offers opportunity to work in a highly visible and rewarding program that is an industry leading initiative.
 
Responsibilities include:
  • Manage a local team of developers to deliver key projects in a timely manner.
  • Manage priorities and client communication.
  • Develop web applications and integrating with databases.
  • Take part in full project lifecycle, for both development and support projects, including estimation.
  • Work in a highly energetic, multi-faceted, international environment showing ability to quickly assess technical challenges and respond appropriately.
  • Preparing test plans and performing system testing. Coordinate testing with QA and UAT teams
  • Work on and lead projects with demanding timescales.
  • Keep track of issues and requests and ensure proper follow-up and closure.
  • Strong client focus, as this individual will work closely with clients, users and managers. 
Strong Java skills on server side and User interface, Needs to be hands-on person and will need to write java code. Good understanding of event driven systems, very high capacity stream processing, Familiarity with Actimize AIS/RCM products and apache kafka, storm technologies is a strong plus. Knowledge of sql and nosql databases. Knowledge of working on Unix/Linux systems, version control systems, maven repository,. Knowledge of Agile based development practices is must. Excellent communication skills, Ability to work with clients, understand business priorities, organize, prioritize and deliver on critical fast track projects.
