CCB Risk
Chase Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) serves consumers and small businesses with a broad range of financial services, including personal banking, small business banking and lending, mortgages, credit cards, payments, auto finance and investment advice. Consumer & Community Banking Risk Management partners with each CCB sub-line of business to identify, assess, prioritize and remediate risk. Types of risk that occur in consumer businesses include fraud, reputation, operational, credit, market and regulatory, among others
As a Credit Bureau Oversight Associate you will lead key initiatives focused on the execution of the Credit Bureau Center of Excellence governance framework.  The Oversight management role will include: monitoring, reporting processes, reengineering activities, data governance control, and testing of CCB wide credit bureau information usage and furnishing in accordance with FCRA regulations.   The ideal candidate should possess project management experience, analytical skills, and be comfortable facilitating discussions with senior leaders to assess business processes against policy across multiple lines of business.
  • Drive xLOB bureau oversight activities by partnering  with Risk Management stakeholders, LOB Leads,  users and other partners such as Control, Legal, Compliance
  • Establish appropriate control metrics and standards for Credit Bureau activities.
  • Conduct development of periodic assessments for multiple business groups, which is required to govern Credit Bureau activities and data in adherence with JPMC Control Management Review standards and firmwide Credit Bureau Policy.
  • Educate key stakeholders xLOB regarding the Credit Bureau review model and reporting.
  • Manage the identification of targeted high risk bureau processes and the execution of the subsequent risk reviews.
  • Develop regular management reporting summarizing Credit Bureau reviews and remediation progress.
  • Ensure continuity between internal/external regulatory changes and findings with COE review practices.
  • Responsible for maintaining guidance and best practices for Credit Bureau Policies, and staying abreast of current regulatory requirements applicable to responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the COE Policy lead to review proposed firm-wide policy against existing LOB procedures.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, management, or related discipline

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with focus on attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret data, control documents, and processes
Business Acumen
  • 3 plus years of relevant work experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with a variety of constituents
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects and collaborating to achieve business goals
  • Strong communication, organization, time management and decision making skills
  • Credit bureau insight and Operational Risk background preferred
  • Strong ability to independently solve problems
