Chase's Middle Market Banking footprint covers 23,000 + clients with over 600 bankers in 26 states across the United States. Chase Middle Market Banking is the 3rd largest traditional Middle Market lender in the country.
The Credit Risk Executive will report to the MMBSI Sub Line of Business Credit Risk Officer and will be responsible for managing teams of Underwriters covering our Northeast Middle Market Banking segment. As a member of MMBSI Risk Executive Team, this role will closely partner with the other MMBSI Risk Credit Risk teams contributing to the overall MMBSI Risk objectives, which includes enhanced portfolio management, regulatory / control discipline, credit risk process enhancements and other regulatory reporting.
To be successful in this role, the Credit Risk Executive must be able to demonstrate excellent managerial and people skills with a strong emphasis on leadership and performance development. The Credit Risk Executive must be able to perform in a demanding, complex, highly visible and heavily matrix environment.
This senior level position will primarily focus on credit review and approval across our Northeast segment partnering with the Northeast Segment Head and Region Managers. Client focus is a critical component of this position that routinely interacts with customers at varying management levels. Individuals must be capable of fully independent activity with responsibility for maintaining and the credit quality and a very diverse portfolio. The Credit Risk Executive will be involved with underwriting commitments for large and complex relationships, working with local banking teams and other lines of businesses across JP Morgan Chase. The Credit Risk Executive’s decisions have a major impact on portfolio quality and profitability across the Northeast Segment. Other responsibilities include helping to develop, implement and manage policies and procedures necessary to achieve the mission of the JP Morgan Chase Risk organization.
The Northeast Segment is currently comprised of 18 locations. Regional Coverage: CT, DE, DC, MA, MD, ME, NH, NJ, NY, Eastern PA, RI, VA and VT
