Business Overview:
As a core team within Global Compliance Operations, the ‘CAO Business Management for Strategic Programs’ group are responsible for the management and delivery of critical programs and projects across Compliance Operations, including Consent Order driven initiatives.
One of these initiatives is to enable a holistic view of JPM high risk customers to be available to the Lines of Business when reviewing KYC information in order to reduce the residual risk associated with the multi-thread of customers across LOBs.
Team Description:
The Test Lead will be aligned to the Holistic Program where the objective is the development of a sustainable & scalable strategic Holistic Customer Due Diligence model.
As a seasoned Testing / User Acceptance Testing / Quality Assurance individual you will be responsible for leading the execution of testing delivery across the Holistic Program.
Project interaction will include a range of day to day delivery meetings with the core project team(s) including GFCC, CRDU, KYC Utility, LOBs and Technology Groups. Your role will be to develop and execute the test strategy, managing regular readiness and health checks, identifying risks and issues (as well as providing solutions and alternatives for evaluation), managing test runs, crafting core team and executive communications and critical updates, as well as gathering milestones, reporting test progress and managing the cross LOB tasks that lead to successful completion of the testing.
Strong Testing, general Project Management and Business Analysis skills are a pre-requisite for this role, as is the ability to face off to senior stakeholders with excellent communication skills key. An understanding of the KYC process and associated KYC systems would be a distinct advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with business and project stakeholders, key business users and subject matter experts to understand testing scope and prioritise business requirements across impacted areas.
  • Lead/Participate in meetings, at the operational and project level, providing continuous feedback on Test Strategy and Test Execution status; ensure information is shared and issues addressed; offering constructive options to ensure work tracks to original expectations.
  • Produce detailed test plans and associated test documentation; ongoing management of the Test phases of the project and maintenance of the Test Plan and other Test related documentation.
  • Functioning as an escalation point to keep all parties aware of overall project impact, facilitating management decisions at the earliest opportunity. Also, recognizing key issues and risks and facilitating teams to solution or escalate to senior management.
  • Supporting business units in the development and execution of Test Plans for a successful implementation.
  • Understand from a technology perspective the capabilities, linkages, risks & challenges associated with the current and the future state model and implementing a balanced Test Strategy accordingly.
  • Participate in workshops and presentations where required, including overseas travel.
  • Provide Technology input to create User Stories as they build their Agile development plans.
  • Lead, drive and manage User Testing as and when enhancements are deployed.
  • Track key Testing issues and risks; provide transparency to management and business partners.
  • Collaborate with business owners and Technology/delivery workstreams to ensure clear communication of Test objectives and requirements and develop optimal solutions.
  • Actively identify opportunities to improve and streamline Testing and then drive process re-engineering.
  • Proven Testing skills evidenced by previous successful project completions, leading and supporting complex projects through the full life cycle.
  • Experienced in the use of functional test tools, such as ALM.  Skills need to include knowledge of test case documentation, as well as how to leverage the tool for reporting.
  • Solid understanding of project requirements, project delivery process, testing success factors, and implementation guidelines.
  • Proven experience interacting directly with business stakeholders and end users - strong verbal and written communication skills; strong meeting facilitation skills.
  • Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritise work.
  • Result oriented attitude with strong track record of high quality deliverables.
  • Good technical knowledge of business.
  • Ability to adapt tools and processes to project needs and changing expectations.
  • Strong team building skills – must enjoy working as part of a hardworking and close knit team.
  • Experienced in the use of Microsoft Power Point.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, professional certification or equivalent work experience.
  • A good understanding of KYC processes and the associated KYC Systems Application Flows would be a major advantage.
