Primary Function:
 
Provide support to the Private Bank Market Manager for Connecticut.  
  • Understand GWM, USPB and Regional Business initiatives, priorities, and objectives and ensure that those initiatives, priorities, and objectives are incorporated into the market’s business plan
  • Communicate initiatives, priorities, and objectives to Region, and monitor/report on progress towards goals
  • Partner with Business-aligned functional areas (Client Service, Onboarding, Practice Partners, Finance, SM, Compliance) with respect to all change management initiatives
  • Pipeline management and accountability through coordination with Finance
  • Manage prospect lists, sales cycle, pre-meeting preparation, and pitching where appropriate
  • Develops understanding in the sale of  investments, banking and trust services including, but not limited to: asset allocation on structured portfolios, managed portfolios, brokerage accounts,  portfolio reviews, deposit and loan solutions, basic trust and estate products and identification of wealth planning opportunities
  • Business review preparation in coordination with Finance
  • Coordinate and assist Events and Marketing partners for upcoming events
  • Coachable professional with good “business sense” and an energetic/dynamic personality
  • Judgment and professional maturity to handle sensitive information and work with senior management
  • Strategic business mindset – ability to identify improvements and ways to create efficiency
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team player
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage priorities effectively
  • Ability to multi task and handle high pressure situations and tight deadlines
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to learn proprietary software and databases; ability to master wealth planning software, including Planning Station modules, WA models, MAPS/CHART (as appropriate) 
Position Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree required
  • Sales/originator capabilities
  • Series 7 & 63 required for position
