Counterparty Credit Infrastructure & Capital (CCIC) is a global private side group with a presence in New York and London, and forms part of Credit Risk Management. CCIC develops, coordinates and oversees infrastructure, stress testing and exposure methodology globally for derivatives, securities financing and other traded products, and provides expertise and oversight for their Basel credit risk capital. In addition, CCIC includes Credit Portfolio Solutions (CPS) EMEA and Asia, with the teams covering new derivatives, securities financing and other traded products for the clients of the CIB across EMEA and Asia
 
 
Role
The Capital Implementation & Analytics (CIA) team within CCIC is seeking a Vice President, based in Brooklyn, New York, to help with all aspects of RWA stress testing for both regulatory CCAR and ICAAP programs and firm’s Risk Appetite for the portfolios of OTC derivatives and cleared transactions. The candidate will play a critical role in RWA stress testing program with a primary focus of developing and enhancing technical tools and process controls. The candidate will work jointly with other CCIC’s SMEs and various stakeholders to achieve the team’s goals in execution, validation and outcome analysis of RWA stress program.
 
The candidate’s primary responsibilities are:
 
  1. Drive CCIC’s strategic technology initiatives and the partnership with various technology stakeholders.
  2. Plan and execute RWA stress testing exercise for OTC derivatives and cleared transactions portfolios.
  3. Design and improve the team’s various E2E processes with controls and tools (including but not limited to documentation and automation).
  4. Jointly lead with quant SMEs in developing analytics to effectively explain RWA and stress testing results.
  5. Represent CCIC in firm-wide Derivatives tech initiatives on related data, process and systems.
  6. Work closely with CCIC Infrastructure team, Credit Portfolio Group, Credit Risk Management, Credit Risk Technology, Risk Reporting, Quant Research, Model Risk and Development group (MGG and MRG).

Qualifications:

  • Strong technology background in SDLC, agile development and project/stakeholder management.
  • Solid technical and analytical skills to work with volume data and process
  • Relevant experience in stress testing program and/or Basel counterparty credit risk advanced methods in large US banks
  • An end-user tool development skills with VBA or similar programming languages.
  • Familiar with JPM infrastructure and data/process flow is a plus
  • Relevant experience of traded products and/or counterparty credit risk management is a plus
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership of responsibilities, must be diligent, self-motivated and able to deliver high-quality results in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to articulate complex ideas in a concise and simplified manner to non-technical stakeholders and senior managers
  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum six years of relevant experience
