This position is part of the centralized SWAT team supporting the Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) risk management organization. The group supports various strategic project initiatives across the CCB risk organization. The team works across all consumer business lines, namely credit cards, auto, mortgage, business banking and retail banking. In this role, you will gain knowledge of risk management, controls and infrastructure, as well as develop a solid understanding of risk analytics and how it evolves and impacts the overall business and the industry.
 
Responsibilities include but not limited to
  • Handle multiple risk strategy projects across the CCB organization
  • Conduct analytical deep dives to drive business decisions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to collect and organize data and information, perform research and analysis, and present recommendations that influence the stakeholders.
  • Track & Forecast performance attributable to risk strategy changes.
  • Present recommendations and routine results to senior leaders
  • Partner with technical groups to develop requirements for changes to rules engines and automated strategies
  • Work with business partners and leaders to ensure any new developments will be deliverable and executable in the operations environment.
  • 2 to 5 years of consumer lending experience in risk or marketing analytics, preferably for the US market
  • Master's degree in Business Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related fields
  • Ability to develop, recommend, and implement financial risk strategies based on well researched facts and analytics
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills to clearly present analytical findings and influence across all levels of the organization
  • Experience in advanced analytic techniques applied to customer and risk valuation, ROI, design of experiment, segmentation and modeling
  • Proficient in the following applications:  Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, SAS and SQL with experience in UNIX and relational databases
  • Hands-on work schedule (be able to extract relevant information / data, write requisite code and independently execute the requisite analysis / solution).
