Asset Management - Global Trading Agreements Group - Derivatives Documentation Specialist – Associate
The Global Asset Management Business is looking for a motivated individual to join a small team, draft negotiate and manage Trading Agreements (ISDA Master Agreements, Central Clearing Agreements, CDEA's and amendments) for a Business-aligned negotiation team.
The incumbent will be/have:
A point of contact for the global Business to ensure appropriate trading agreements are in place and accounts set up with external trading counterparties prior to entering into transactions on behalf of each Asset Management funds and clients.
Some experience in bilateral and cleared derivative products, and have some familiarity with securities based products and the associated agreements and ideally some experience on maintaining a legal documentation database
Participate in storing, profiling and keeping up-to-date the Legal Portal for Trading Agreements as well as the team’s
Responsible for explaining agreements and representing JPMAM’s position to internal stakeholders and external counterparties. Position involves frequent interaction and coordination with Legal, Counterparty Risk, Portfolio Managers, Client Service, Operations, and Business Management teams.
Ensure internal procedures are followed with respect to the initiation of agreements and approvals of terms, and that key stakeholders are updated with latest status of negotiations.
Expected to develop build relationships with various groups involved internally and with counterparts at other financial institutions – strong interpersonal skills required.
Involved with regulatory changes as necessary to facilitate appropriate management of JPMAM client portfolios.
