Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Analyze Business Requirements, design, develop, test and deliver quality software products in a complex environment. 
  • Creates detailed manual test cases, automation scripts, works with Business Analyst to determine requirements are captured correctly. Works with development team to analyze and resolve defects.
  • Experience in UI, Database and API testing. Support Production Implementation tasks and post Production deployment validations.
  • Work with globally located teams on a daily basis.
  • Supports the application's BAU and DEV/OPS processes and activities.
  • Actively participate in a self-organized Scrum team where team members work together to determine who does what. 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems required
  • 5+ years of experience with the following:
    • Team Developer or Automator on an enterprise Information Technology (IT) team
    • Proven use of 2 or more development languages (e.g. Java/JQuery, Javascript, Ruby, Groovy,)
    • Exposure to web technologies (e.g. HTTP, XML, REST, HTML, etc)
    • Exposure to development or test automation tools/frameworks (e.g. Cucumber/Gherkin, Selenium Grid, Junit, SOAP-UI, Eclipse, Jenkins, Maven, Visual Studio, HP ALM/QTP, JIRA, etc)
    • Exposure to platforms/OS/Servers (e.g. Windows Server, Linux/Unix, J2EE, IIS, Apache, Tomcat, etc)
  • Understanding of Software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
  • Ability to negotiate, communicate and deliver effective Automated Test solutions to both Development and QA organizations
  • Ability to prepare and effectively present status reports in either Agile Standup meetings or for QA
  • Knowledge and benefits of Services and API layer development and testing
  • Proficient knowledge of the Microsoft Office products – to include Access queries and Excel macros
  • Exposure to Database schemas and SQL queries is a must

General Qualifications:

  • Excellent Leadership skills and experience working in QA, Automation and Development teams
  • Excellent organization and communication skills (written, oral and presentation)
  • Experience in use of MS Office products for both analysis and presentation
  • Experience in delivering end-to-end technology implementation solutions
