J.P. Morgan Asset Management is seeking talented candidates for a position as a Project Manager - Office of Legal Obligations (OLO) - Vice President, based in Manhattan, NY. This position will be a key part of the firm wide, global Office of Legal Obligations (OLO) program team, with project management and coordination responsibilities for a range of Asset Management business teams.
The Operations Risk and Business Management function , in partnership with the business and control functions, is tasked with coordinating and executing major control, business, and strategic initiatives across Operations. The right candidate will be comfortable working independently and as part of small project teams in solving complex problems and implementation issues critical to the Asset Management OLO Program.
The Project Manager is a key role within the AM O&C team with specific responsibility for the successful implementation of the Office of Legal Obligations (OLO) program. Key areas of focus to support this effort will include:
- Performing analysis of Legal/Regulatory Obligations to enable efficient routing either by region or theme across Global AM Operations departments
- Partnering with AM functions (Compliance, Legal, O&C Control Officers, Business subject matter experts (SMEs) ) to ratify the application of obligations drafted by J.P. Morgan Legal to the AM business, and facilitate the accurate impact analysis to the AM Operations Assessment Units;
- Partnering with the Operations teams to identify procedures that demonstrate compliance with each obligation;
- Partnering with the broader Assessment Team members including Legal, Compliance, Risk, and the Business to complete procedure sufficiency analysis; Additional areas of focus may include:
