The Corporate Technology (CT) organization develops applications and provides technology support for corporate functions across JPMorgan Chase, including Global Finance, Corporate Treasury, Risk Management, Human Resources, Compliance, Legal, and all functions within the Corporate Administrative Office (CAO).
CT teams are aligned with corporate partners’ evolving technology needs and the firm’s ever expanding technology controls agenda.
A top CT priority is building scalable corporate systems. Teams focus on:
·         Responding to the evolving regulatory environment and helping to meet the firm’s regulatory commitments by addressing internal and external commitments
·         Advancing the firm’s Roadmap programs -- Single Sourcing of data, Architecture Convergence, and Rationalization of Platforms
·         Adopting industry leading technologies to support best-in-class business capabilities for high performance computing and data storage solutions
·         Driving innovation across the firm’s corporate technology portfolio, increasing efficiencies through process automation, and Agile application development, with an emphasis on user experience and shorter development cycles
·         Investing in security & controls for cyber, access/entitlements uplift, data protection and application resiliency
Position Description
In the role of Global KYC Application Development Lead, you will be responsible for the following:
  • Become subject matter expert of Global KYC Due Diligence applications and support tools
  • Work with architecture, business analysis and development resources across LOBs and Enterprise systems in delivery of  standards and centralized services to support and provide best in breed for  Global KYC Due Diligence
  • Work with the users, business analysts and developers to analyze requirements and create applications  
  • Analyze business requirements and data in an effort to drive standardized solutions across the corporation
  • Work with a global team of engineers, Business Analysts, and Scrum Masters to deliver new and updated functionality to Global KYC Due diligence
  • Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts and team members to analyze business requirements and define the IT solution.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide input to the design recommendations; incorporate security requirements into design; and provide input to information/data flow, and understand and comply with Project Life Cycle Methodology in all planning steps.
  • Adhere to IT Control Policies throughout design, development and testing and incorporate Corporate Architectural Standards into application design specifications.
  • Document the detailed application specifications, translate technical requirements into programmed application modules and develop/Enhance software application modules.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications; identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues; and review and provide feedback to the final user documentation

 

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience working as an Application Developer/Engineer
  • 4+ years’ experience as a technical lead mentoring engineers
  • 2+ years managing and oversight of a technical delivery team
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Experience in: Java, J2EE, JSP, JS, CSS, Apache, Tomcat, SQL, Hibernate. Oracle, Unix/Linux shell scripting, Control-M
  • Excellent analytical, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills coupled with a strong work ethic.
  • Exposure in working with: Blackduck, penetration testing, dynamic scanning tools along with efficient remediation of identified issues
  • Experience in large, complex, cross Line of Business technology initiatives
  • Ability to contribute and influence architecture and database discussions
  • Strong understanding and experience with agile principles and framework
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a larger team; a team player
  • Ability to collaborate and build strong partnerships across business, technology and operations as well as across regions  
  • Good communication skills; both verbal and written
  • Detail oriented but also a strategic thinker
  • Knowledge of KYC and Client Reference Data a plus
