About the Team
The EMEA Clearing Product Management Team is responsible for product strategy, development and performance in relation to EUR, GBP, CLS and Clearing House Settlement services delivered to clients globally and for the product performance of the USD clearing product delivered to clients locally.
 
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for an associate level employee to learn and contribute to the management of the clearing products, supporting the other clearing product managers on a day-to-day basis, with a wide range of responsibilities including some P&L management, product strategy and growth as well as risk and control governance.  This role is ideal for a candidate with some experience of product management that would like to establish themselves within the product management organization.
 
Core Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop production of pipeline metrics, to promote efficient tracking and execution of new business opportunities across all of the clearing products
  • Manage efficient P&L tracking across clearing products
  • Be a subject matter expert on wire payments and receipts and be able to handle enquiries from internal and external clients
  • Deliver and maintain high quality marketing collateral for the product
  • Ensure all ready to launch activities are complete for new products and services
  • Work closely with the other product managers within the group and in other regions to provide integrated solutions to our clients
  • Structure and present reporting and updates to senior management
  • Understand the risks inherent in the product and help drive programs to reduce risk across all of the clearing products.
 Key Attributes/qualifications:
  • Previous payment experience
  • Able to complete detailed analysis and provide well structured metrics
  • Able to operate at strategic and tactical level
  • Career minded and results driven
  • Strong organization and problem solving skills
  • Team player and capable of building relationships with key business partners
  • Proactive, takes ownership of initiatives from the start; sees through to completion
  • Confidence and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
  • Ability to learn the technical and operational aspects of the product quickly
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred
  • Occasional travel overseas.
