CIB Oversight & Control - Front Office Supervision (FOS) 
Team and Role Overview
The FOS Program Management team is responsible for working with front office and providing oversight of multiple strategic projects within the Corporate and Investment Bank. The role will involve close partnership with other functional support groups like Operations, product control, Technology, Risk, Audit and Compliance. The Program Manager would be expected to work with senior lead owning a number of cross line of business / asset class initiatives including:
  • Regulatory Response management programs
  • Strategic and transformational programs with front office ownership
The expectation from this group is to simultaneously work on multiple initiatives with strong business and regulatory focus. This will require engaging senior front office leaders, business managers and other senior stakeholders from the support groups.
This is an ideal, high profile and very high visibility opportunity for a strongly performing person to showcase talent and skillsets.  
Key Responsibilities
The team is looking for an initiative lead to provide strong support and leadership within the broad program of the FOS program group.  The person will be responsible for working with senior manager of the group overseeing the delivery of a select number of initiatives.  
The role is based in London
The typical responsibilities include: 
  • Analyse business requirements
  • Produce business requirement definition and functional specification/definition documents
  • Create and maintain development backlog
  • Work closely with suppliers/developers during design, build/configuration and delivery phases
  • Establish testing criteria
  • System testing
  • Facilitation of user acceptance testing
  • Implementation and configuration
  • Enhancements - including analysis, testing and implementation of enhancements to existing systems/processes.
The candidate must be a self-motivated with ability to work in a fast paced, results driven environment.  Additional qualifications:
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Ability to thrive in a changing work environment
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office
  • Knowledge of CIB businesses and high-level transaction flow
  • Full lifecycle project delivery
  • Working knowledge of formal project methodologies
  • Experience of working in an agile environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including senior management and subject matter experts
