Role Title:      Associate, Pensions & Benefits Team
HR Department Background:
The UK Pensions & Benefits Team has management and operational responsibility for the firms UK benefit programs including a comprehensive flexible benefits program and 7 UK pension schemes, the largest of which has approximately 38,000 members. This role will be involved in all aspects of running the UK pension and benefit plans.
Core responsibilities:
  • Working as part of the team to oversee and coordinate ongoing pension and benefit activities such as flexible benefits renewals, pension plan accounts, issuing newsletters and other benefits communications and delivery of an employee seminar program;
  • Acting as a point of contact for scheme administrators and benefit vendors in relation to individual queries;
  • Managing the end to end process for insurance claims on behalf of employees and dependants;
  • Supporting the Secretary to the Trustees of our pension plans, including helping with the preparation of meeting papers, governance documents and resolution of actions;
  • Assisting with managing the pension administration and benefit vendor services on an ongoing basis, ensuring efficient delivery.
  • Providing support to the pension & benefits operations team as required in conducting the monthly processes and controls to ensure timely and accurate benefit deductions.
  • Providing support to the broader pension and benefits team on other projects as required.
Skills & experience required:
  • Excellent communication skills, able to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels;
  • Strong team player with excellent organizational skills, used to managing a range of priorities in a fast paced environment, with ability to take ownership of projects, be proactive and flexible.
  • Strong analytical skills which can be applied to varied tasks;
  • Prior experience in a pension and/or benefit related role is not required but would be beneficial.
