As a member of the Finance - Business Architecture Program team, you will work closely with a diverse range of business stakeholders, partner with the Risk and Finance Technology team and the various Program Management teams to drive the Finance vision of the Finance and Risk Roadmap to fruition.  Specific focus will be on the build out of the new Finance Reporting Infrastructure (FRI).

 

This position is within the FRI CCAR Implementation team and will focus on the oversight of an end to end release; and the management of end to end project plan inclusive of sourcing, business requirements, operating model, testing and technology activities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Documentation and delivery of comprehensive, high quality Business Requirements and establish traceability to the business vision.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with finance and line of business partners, facilitate effective communication, and work with business teams to assess needs, understand requirements and syndicate solutions 

§  Facilitates critical communications by interacting with users (business domain), project team members and development personnel (technical domain) under minimal supervision

§  Develop project scope, goals, project plans, and milestones

  • Manage project timelines and track and execute against required deliverables
  • Resolve conflicts and successfully manage project/task dependencies
  • Identify and effectively solution for risks, issues and control gaps
  • Determine, understand, and document the business case and project scope under minimal supervision

§  Partner with the FRI testing team to prepare detailed test cases and expected results for multiple deliverables

Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 4-7 years of overall experience in one of the following fields: Regulatory Finance, Project Management, Information Technology
  • Relevant project management certifications helpful (i.e. CAPM, PMP, PRINCE2, Six Sigma, etc.)
  • Experience working on Business Requirements and Functional Specification documents
  • Strong understanding of the Project Lifecycle / Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) 
  • Solid understanding of finance process, infrastructure and systems is desirable

Communication / Influence

  • Excellent ability to quickly learn and assimilate business and technical knowledge, and confidently speak about these processes
  • Ability to lead and influence without having positional authority, and communicate effectively at many levels of the organization including senior management
  • Proven ability to work across diverse groups, build consensus and execute the agreed plans
  • Ability to develop strong client relationships and gain consensus on key decisions

Technical

  • Overall strong desktop skills including Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Visio and Project
  • Strong data analysis skills – Tableau, SQL experiences are desirable
  • Experience creating effective & efficient business and functional requirement documentation
  • Experience utilizing workflow tools, such as JIRA, is a plus 

Soft Skills

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple streams of work concurrently
  • Must be detail oriented, highly responsible and deadline focused
  • Strong team-orientation and leadership skills.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills; sound judgment
  • Flexible to working in a dynamic project environment
