Within the Audit Department, the Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) Audit team is responsible for assessing the adequacy of the control environment across the AWM businesses. This is achieved through a program of audit coverage performed and managed by a team of integrated business, technology and corporate sector specialists and coordinated on a global basis with colleagues in EMEA and Asia. 

 

JPMorgan Chase is seeking talented candidates for a Program Management Associate role, supporting the Fiduciary Audit Program Management Office (PMO). The role will be based in New York City.

 

The Fiduciary Audit PMO provides delivery leadership and support for the department’s deliverables and is responsible for delivering the annual Fiduciary Audit Program. The individual will work closely with the Fiduciary Audit program manager to develop and maintain reporting and tracking for the fiduciary audit plan, interact with the department’s fiduciary working group, and work across all audit teams to drive key deliverables. The individual will also drive the monthly MIS production, partner with Audit Practices to ensure compliance with audit policies, and strategically evaluate the approach against our Fiduciary Audit Program requirements.

  

Responsibilities:

 

While this is not a traditional Audit role, the candidate will be a member of the AWM Audit team and actively contribute to the daily operations necessary to run a global Audit team, as well as supporting the delivery of all aspects of the Fiduciary Audit Program. Key responsibilities include:

·         Manage and maintain reporting to accurately track resources and capacity requirements to complete the annual Fiduciary Audit Plan

·         Monitor fiduciary audit and issue staffing to ensure compliance with the Fiduciary Audit Coverage Policy

·         Aggregate and synthesize data from various sources into a clear and presentable format that is accurate and free of errors

 

·         Generate ad hoc reports and perform complex data analyses to drive insights and support key management decisions

·         Recommend process enhancements and develop automated reporting tools to promote operational efficiencies

·         Create clear and concise presentation materials for various audiences including senior management

·         Establish and maintain relationships with senior internal stakeholders

·         Manage data updates within internal systems utilized by the Audit department

·         Respond to ad-hoc requests from within Audit and other control functions

 

 

·         Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration

·         3-5 years of experience in Project or Business Management

·         Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities with acute attention to detail

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently under deadline pressure

·         Strong initiative, energy and confidence completing projects with limited supervision

·         Demonstrated ability in dealing with different stakeholder groups

·         Advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel (i.e. vlookup, nested functions, array formulas, pivot tables, macros, VBA), PowerPoint and SharePoint
