Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Risk professional to be a member of the Asia Pacific Chief Risk office to support the Regional & Legal Entity Risk Governance & Oversight agenda.  The candidate will report to the Vice President of the Risk governance team and will assume a wide variety of tasks and regularly interact with colleagues from the Risk organization and other business partners regionally and globally.

Job Requirements
  • Coordinate/support  various risk governance forums and working groups, including the Asia Pacific Risk Committee and Legal Entity Risk Governance & Oversight working group
  • Work with various  Risk disciplines including Credit, Market, Liquidity, Principal, Country, Reputation Risk, Risk Reporting and Legal entity Risk managers
  • Contribute to the overall Risk governance agenda including  projects, strategic and legal entity risk governance related initiatives
  • Facilitate committee submissions and overall committee administration
  • Assist in committee reviews, performance and overall effectiveness measures
  • Partner with the Risk business management and Controls agenda
  • Support regulatory requests and audit coordination as appropriate
  • Solid work experience in financial services; experience in a risk related discipline is preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills – succinct, sensitive and confident – comfortable interacting with all levels of seniority and across different groups and functions
  • Able to work independently, efficiently and with discipline
  • Superior attention to detail, highly organized  and able to multi task
  • Thoughtful analytical skills, able to develop, clearly present and draw conclusions
  • Sound judgment, professional maturity and personal integrity; strong work ethic, proactive and results oriented outlook; possess courage to ask tough questions and challenge the status quo
  • Energetic, self motivated and effective under pressure - must enjoy the challenge of working in a fast-paced and demanding working environment
  • Solid MS Excel , Powerpoint and Word skills
  • Education /professional qualifications - Risk, Business, Finance  degree or other closely related professional qualifications
