The Firmwide Regulatory Reporting & Analysis (FRRA) team resides within Corporate Finance. The group is responsible for the execution and delivery against the Firm’s regulatory reporting requirements to its U.S. regulators. The team has end-to-end responsibility for US regulatory reporting and capital stress testing, including the design, implementation, and oversight of the execution, analysis, control and governance frameworks. Its mandate includes determining the appropriate investment in people, processes and technology to improve the accuracy, completeness and consistency of the Firm’s US regulatory reporting and capital stress testing submissions, as well as the implementation of new requirements and guidelines as they are published.
 
The objectives of the FRRA Team are to provide leadership on all aspects of US regulatory reporting and firmwide capital stress-testing, including both internal and regulatory requirements.
 
The Regulatory Reporting Consolidation Team (“RRCT”) within the FRRA team is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of multiple reports that are filed with various US regulatory agencies (primarily the Federal Reserve, the OCC and the FDIC).

This role will partner with colleagues across Corporate Finance, Risk functions, and the lines of business on various reports such as the FR Y-9C, FFIEC 031 (Call), FR Y-15 and FR 2644. Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):  
  • Develop an understanding of and support JPM’s periodic regulatory requirements and processes
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of schedules across various reports through coordination with various stakeholders (i.e. data providers, data submitters, schedule and control owners)
  • Complete an analytical review of schedules across various reports and confirm compliance with identified risk controls.
  • Assist in the further enhancements of the Variance Analytic Framework for all schedules that are delivered to regulators
  • Support the automation of strategic reporting tools
  • Assist in enhancing the governance and attestation framework
  • Support Corporate and LOB initiatives to continually improve and enhance reporting process
Work with the team to create presentations that will be used for senior management discussion and/or used for presentation to regulators.
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Finance, Accounting or related field preferred
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Effective  communications skills, written and verbal – significant interaction with LOBs, risk streams, senior managers, and with regulators
  • Ability to work on multiple priorities at the same time within tight deadlines, demonstrating excellent organizational skills
  • Strong analytical skills with a track record of execution against deliverables
  • Control mindset (ability to identify and close control gaps and/or issues)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel & PowerPoint in particular)
