Control Room Support Services Operations, Oversight and Control Client Solutions - Senior Analyst

 

 

Description

 

The Oversight and Control Group's (O&C) mission is to solidify an effective Firmwide control framework within and across the lines of business by identifying and remediating control issues with a sense of urgency, regardless of the source.  Within O&C, the Controls Room (CR) functions as a utility for the firm, providing control and compliance reporting, metrics and data analytics at the Enterprise level.  The mission of the department is to provide meaningful management information that will facilitate decision making, including post-incident tracking and analysis, as well as predictive and preventive analysis.  Controls Room Support Services Operations provides day-to-day operational support related to the control of data, provisioning of reporting to external regulators, and ad hoc projects. 

 

Responsibilities

 

The individual in this role will provide daily business-side system and user support:

  • Provide daily system support operations including, issue resolution, user requests, enhancement requests, user acceptance testing, ad-hoc requests, etc.

  • Monitor the support tools, mailbox and help desk line for user Tickets/Issues

  • Prioritize and schedule tickets; escalate tickets/issues to the L2/L3 teams as required

  • Provide technology troubleshooting support as basic user issues, system issues such as data problems

  • Resolve and close user related tickets assigned to Operate Support in a timely and complete manner by providing application knowledge

  • Coordinate Access Administration and supports Recertification for the Controls Room application

Flexibility in working APAC, EMEA and U.S. shifts is desirable

Qualifications 

  • 2-3 years of business or technology operate team management

  • Knowledge of risk management and control principles  

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Customer service oriented 

  • Ability to converse with both Technical and Business Partners in Technical or Business terms as needed

  • Strong organizational, documentation, and multi-tasking skills with demonstrated ability to manage expectations and deliver results

  • High-level of professionalism, self-motivation, and sense of urgency
