Team Background
 
J.P. Morgan Markets (JPMM) is the firm’s single dealer platform that delivers financial solutions across the full trade and investment lifecycle to Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) clients.
The Digital Products and Services team is tasked to create best-in-class offerings on JPMM which provides clients and internal user’s critical functionality across the trade lifecycle; from research, analytics and structuring to trading and post-trade functionality.  
 
The candidate will join an execution focused team tasked with building our electronic execution functionality and distribution capabilities across FX, Commodities and Rates. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the delivery of Rates products onto J. P. Morgan Markets eXecute our award winning Single Dealer Platform for pricing, execution, and post trade management.
 
 
Key Roles and Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have strong business analysis and project management expertise combined with a Fixed Income product knowledge (bonds, swaps, derivatives) ideally gained from working as a Business Analyst or Product Manager.
 
Responsibilities include:
 
  • Be responsible for taking an idea from inception to delivery of a best in class product including product definition and support solutions
  • Work with Trading and eSales to prioritize feedback and help define end solutions based on business requirements and the eTrading landscape/architecture  
  • Gather user requirements, document user stories & partner with technology to drive and manage product delivery across multiple teams within agreed timelines
  • Lead and signoff QA effort to ensure end deliveries are according to original specification
  • Demonstrable experience of the ecommerce product landscape in  Rates
  • Understand MIS and how it can drive the product lifecycle
    Provide regular updates/reports to key stakeholders communicating progress and define key metrics and success criteria
  • Coordinate across multiple teams/stakeholders to gain consensus, mediate conflicts and develop innovative, efficient and competitive approaches to issues
  • Drive actionable and implementable strategies that produce client value and meet agreed requirements
  • Drive client & internal adoption globally (each with their unique functional demands & regulatory constraints) by providing training and sales support
Required Skills and Qualifications
 
Candidates must have prior experience with e-commerce industry platforms (either single dealer or multi-dealer), in a product and/or project management role.  Markets product knowledge, particularly in Rates is a pre-requisite. 
The successful candidate should also possess the following:
  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Strong project management experience
  • Strong work ethic, self-starter who is creative with a ‘can-do’ attitude 
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and independently, while maintaining a high degree of communication and escalation at appropriate junctures
  • Team player comfortable working in a fast-paced consulting-style, unstructured environment
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical problem solving skills
  • Quick learner with strong attention to detail
  • Good judgment with a keen interest in financial markets
  • Professional maturity, personal integrity, and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Ability to receive and act upon feedback
  • High-level of proficiency in MS-Office products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Good understanding of Technology
