BUSINESS UNIT OVERVIEW
Consumer & Community Banking (“CCB”) serves 65+million customers with a broad range of consumer financial services, including personal banking, investment advice, small business lending, mortgages, credit cards, payments and auto financing.  It is made up of various lines of business: Consumer Banking, Business Banking, Chase Wealth Management, Card Services, Commerce Solutions, Auto Finance, and Mortgage Banking.
 
Some of the Key Responsibilities for the India Tech Finance & Business Management Lead are
 
  • Act as Trusted Partner to the Technology Leads
  • Work closely with the Finance and Business Management teams in the US to ensure consistency
  • Perform the role of a COO for the CIOs and their organizations

    • Productivity and efficiency tracking and reporting
    • Scenario analysis and ongoing re-planning

  • Collaborate with various groups and Support the Franchise

    • Portfolio Planning & Governance (IRC)

    • Represent your CIO and CCB Technology throughout CCB, F&BM and Global Technology

Qualifications
 
 JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Strong background in, and familiarity with the Financial Services Industry
  • Outstanding ability to analyze problems and keen attention to detail
  • Proven ability to :
    • identify and rectify internal control weaknesses and deficiencies
    • design and build efficient and effective operational processes
    • use technology to improve processes and/or strengthen controls
    • identify, access, prioritize and communicate issues
  • Ability to communicate effectively (both oral and written)
  • Ability to coordinate issues, findings and practices with colleagues across regions and/or divisions.
  • Inquisitive and proactive in identifying risks and proposing solutions
  • Good team player - one who is able to prioritize in a fast moving, high pressure, constantly changing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to exercise sound and balanced judgment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Finance, Accounting or Business four-year undergraduate degree or equivalent   
  • 15+ years financial services industry experience
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills  
  • Desire to develop, improve and /or reengineer processes
  • Strong Excel spreadsheet skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer service skills & excellent business writing and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to lead hi-performing teams
