The CCB Technology Finance and Business Management (F&BM) team supports the Data Ecosystem CIO by providing pertinent and relative business management reporting and presentations.  This role is primarily responsible for resource planning, requisition management, related investment planning and coordinating spend reviews.


F&BM operates in close cooperation with the following groups to prepare business management reports and presentations and to achieve departmental goals:

  • Data Ecosystem CIO and direct reports

  • CCB Technology Finance

  • CCB Controllers

 Candidate Responsibilities

 

ยท         Provide resource / requisition management, planning and forecast guidance

  • Prepare and present spend review reports

  • Monitor and support the strategic agenda for recruiting and workforce management

  • Facilitate CTO level monitoring of headcount and investment planning

  • Execution of the above processes with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness of meeting deliverables on prescribed timetables / calendars

  • Lead additional one-off and repeatable analyses as required by senior management

  • Communicate and coordinate effectively with the lines of business and corporate functions areas

  • Support ad hoc projects as necessary 

Qualifications

  • Over 3 years professional experience with an emphasis on business and data analysis

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, or related field

  • Exceptional analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and project management skills with a proven track record of execution against deliverables

  • Excellent oral and written communication and relationship management skills

  • Detail-oriented and ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment with frequently changing priorities and to meet deadlines under pressure

  • People skills

  • Self-starter who is driven to excel in all aspects of their role and seeks to break the status-quo and initiate improvements where necessary

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel & PowerPoint in particular)

  • Previous experience in a business management role in banking or financial services strongly preferred
