The Athena risk framework is a cross-asset risk calculation and reporting system that is designed to address the different risk and PnL reporting use cases across the investment bank.
The framework has a diverse technology stack which involves dependency graph programming, low-latency services, massive batch calculations, optimization of distributed calculations, modelling and reporting API’s.
The diverse nature suits someone with a wide ranging tech skill set who is passionate about working on large-scale complex software, and working directly with key stake holders to ensure the framework helps to deliver key business objectives.
The candidate would be working in a small (4-5) team of developers, it’s a flat structure and everybody has a great degree of freedom to influence and shape the design of the framework and it’s deliverables.
We are relatively language agnostic, but Python, C++ are preferred.
