Description:

This role will assist in the development of a new financial and analytical reporting infrastructure and support MIS production activities within the Consumer and Community Banking line of business.

Role and Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will identify and analyze data from various internal sources, researching different attributes, P&L line items and metrics.  The role will include working with other departments including Finance, IT, Risk and Accounting.  In addition, this position may support daily and monthly reporting and other MIS tasks as needed.  

 

Core activities associated with the position include the following:

  • Define customer attributes required by the business
  • Develop customer level data that reconciles with general ledger systems and reported financial results
  • Design allocation methodologies for line items or entries not available at the customer level
  • Support LOB initiatives and participate in business requirement meetings, provide business requirements and assist with testing
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy and timeliness in all financial reporting
  • Identify and implement automation solutions
  • Develop and maintain documentation
  • Ensure all processes and controls are followed
  • Complete ad-hoc assignments

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or financial systems discipline.  MBA is a plus.
  • 3+ years experience in Finance, Systems, IT and/or Business Management
  • SQL or SAS skills required
  • Strong analytical, interpretive and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities with tight timelines
  • Proactive, responsive, team player, self motivated, flexible
  • Knowledge of P&L
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Hyperion Essbase experience preferred
