J.P. Morgan is looking for a communications specialist and content producer to join the Marketing and Communications team for our Corporate & Investment Bank in Asia Pacific. The role is based in Singapore, with some regional travel required.

Key responsibilities include:
 
  • Conceptualizing, developing and executing communications and strategies for Southeast Asian markets
  • Managing media inquiries and interview requests, as well as maintaining strong relations with targeted regional press
  • Creating content for press releases, bylined articles as well as talking points for internal stakeholders
  • Supporting issue management during crisis situations
  • Identifying key trends, sourcing, writing and editing high-quality content that provides insightful thought leadership targeting senior business decision makers
  • Increasing the impact of content, which will span product marketing for different lines of business, and ensuring consistency with proprietary events, sponsorships and speech writing for senior leader speaking engagements (e.g. conferences)
  • Collaborating with marketers and business representatives to produce copy for marketing collateral (e.g. product capability brochures) op-eds and advertorial opportunities in relevant media publications.
  • Supporting other initiatives as required across the region such as newsletters, market commentary and regulatory updates for clients

 

Qualifications
 
Essential
  • Native English speaker
  • 5-10 years of solid writing experience
  • Strong editing skills
  • Experience working in, and for, Asia Pacific focused businesses (agency or in-house)
  • Able to work independently as well as partnering with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and balance multiple on-going projects
  • Strategic in thought and topic selection, choosing stories that are aligned with client and business needs
 
Desired
  • Familiarity with different channels and platforms to deliver the story to clients effectively
