Private Banking is involved with every facet of wealth management, including investments, wealth structuring, philanthropy, liquidity and credit management, and tax and estate planning. The Client Service Group (CSG) is responsible for meeting the day to day service needs of the Private Bank’s high net worth and ultra high net worth client base.  Service is delivered through a very high-touch, team-based model with major service locations in the US, EMEA, and Asia.  Client Service Associates are a critical component of the integrated client coverage model including Bankers, Investors, Capital Advisors, and Fiduciary Managers.
 
POSITION SUMMARY:
 
The Client Service Training Officer is part of the Global Wealth Management Private Banking Client Service Training Team who is responsible for all training and knowledge management needs for U.S. and Latin America Client Service.  The Client Service Training Officer will contribute to the broader Client Service training agenda.  He/She will be responsible for new hire, skill enhancement and initiative-specific training programs. 
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Facilitate new hire, skill enhancement and initiative-specific training programs
  • Conduct needs assessments with internal clients to identify performance gaps and implement solutions
  • Design and maintain new hire, skill enhancement and initiative-specific training programs
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs to ensure that appropriate outcomes/improvements have been attained
  • Participate on project teams whose outcomes have significant impact to business results
  • Coordinate training events with internal business partners, includes details such as location, logistics, set-up, materials, training aids and program evaluations
  • Assist managers in development and coaching of staff
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 
  • Spanish/Portuguese fluency required
  • Candidate should have formal training, education or coaching experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business or education-related field or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of private banking and/or securities industries
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, planning, organization, time management and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to a rapidly changing business and technology environment 
  • Training Certification, knowledge of Adult Learning Theory and/or Instructional Design experience a plus
  • Ability to make independent decisions about complex issues and solutions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) usage and ability to learn proprietary software and databases
  • Ability to effectively interact at all levels in the organization
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision making skills
  • Some travel required
  • Spanish fluency preferred but not required
